What’s On My Holiday Wishlist…

My 2015 Holiday Wishlist

I don’t know about you, but as I said in my recent favorites post, I am so excited for Christmas! Although it doesn’t feel or look anything like Christmas outside (check my Instagram here if you’re interested to see what it really looks like!), I’ve decorated inside and already started wrapping and displaying the presents. So I thought it was time I share what’s on my personal wishlist this year. I always like to see these posts because I think it gives you a little closer glimpse at who the blogger is, and of course it can give you some gift ideas! If you need some beauty gift ideas, check out my recent gift guide post for under $25 picks here.

Monthly Favorites: November

December Favorites

Here we are with another roundup of all the things I’ve been loving this past month. I’ll spare you the rant on how fast time is going, and instead tell you that I’ve been feeling very festive already. They don’t celebrate Halloween or Thanksgiving here in the Dominican Republic, so the students wanted to put up the studio Christmas Trees back in October! We held off until mid-November, but I have to say that seeing them every day since then, has definitely got me really excited for the Holidays.

Monthly Favorites: October

October Favorites

October flew by in a flash this year- the whole year has actually. It was a good month though and I tried out a fair few new items that I really enjoyed using. I love this time of year and even though we just finished Halloween, I’m already excited for Thanksgiving and the Holidays! Is it too early? I can’t help it! Here’s what I loved this past month and why:

Gotta Haves #13

Gotta Haves

Today is another post from my Gotta Haves series. You know the one where I tell you all the things I feel like I just gotta have lately? I checked and I haven’t posted one of these since last April, so I felt like it was about time I put this together.

I’m always trying to be reasonable and not buy everything all the time, but I really feel like it’s a lot harder to do that leading up to the Holidays because loads of brands release really great palettes and kits that are simply too good to pass up. It’s not even November and I’m already being sucked in by Holiday releases.

Here’s what I chose and why I feel like I just gotta have them:

Monthly Favorites: September

September Favorites

We’ve just returned to the Dominican Republic after a two and a half-ish visit to Pennsylvania that we spent visiting our friends & family, and enjoying everything Fall! Because I was traveling and didn’t have access to my normal skincare/makeup, I used the same makeup for the whole trip and I have to say, I didn’t hate it as much as I thought I would. I’ve gotten quite used to have a lot of choices, so at first it felt restricting only having a few things with me, but that feeling quickly changed to true appreciation for a handful of products. Here’s what I fell in love with this past month and why:

Monthly Favorites: August

August Favorites

So I know we’re nearly half-way through September, but even though I took this picture and intended to get this post up ages ago, I thought I’d still put this post up because better late than never, right?

I was very excited to see August end (because of the oppressive heat here)  and I’m even more excited to say we’re half way though September already because Ed and I are heading back to Pennsylvania THIS SATURDAY! Ed is even more excited for this trip than I am, he had his suitcase out three weeks ago! With that being said, we’re both overly excited for all the Fall things!!

Anyway, here’s what I was loving in August and am still loving now:

Best SPF For Head to Toe Coverage!

BEST SPF

As the years go by, sun protection and SPF have become increasingly important to me. I’ve always kind of made an effort to stay out of the sun and wear SPF, though I’m definitely guilty of laying out on the beach in the past. Did you know that the sun causes 90% of lines and wrinkles?? That’s way worse than I ever thought! Now we know how bad it is for us and with skin cancer rates on the rise among younger people, it’s important to do what we can to be preventative and take care of ourselves. With all that being said, I’ve been reaching for the SPF now more than ever. So here’s what I’ve been using to keep me covered from head to toe:

Affordable Jewelery Picks from Baublebar!

Baublebar wishlist

This is a new post for me as I’ve never dedicated one solely to jewelery before. I really like jewelery that stands out a little, but can still be worn casually or dressed up. I came across the Baublebar website and liked so many things, I thought why not share it with you in case you were looking for some new affordable jewelry too. Hope you like some of these!
