Review: Estée Lauder Enchanted Forest Pure Color Eyeshadow

EL1

So I’ve been wanting to try something from Estée Lauder for a while but I wasn’t sure what to get. First I was interested in the Cheek Gelée in Tease, but it sold out before I could get it. Then I wanted the Eyeshadow Duo in Raisins, but it sold out before I could buy it too. Finally, I heard wonderful praise for the new Advance Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II and when I checked the EL website, I saw they were giving away a deluxe sample with any purchase. Since the price of the serum is more of an investment, I decided to buy this eyeshadow and then I could try out the sample too!

There are 33 different color options in the Estée Lauder Pure Color Shadow line, but I chose Enchanted Forest because it is a silver grey green and I felt it would complement my hazel eyes nicely. This does have shimmer, but it’s not too over the top, so it can still be easily worn day or night. It’s super silky-smooth, a dream to blend, and it stays on without budging from the second you put it on until you’re ready to take it off at night!

I would definitely recommend the Pure Color Shadow line and I’m really eager to try out more colors– Especially the new Pure Color Instant Intense Eyeshadow Trio. Have you seen them, they look absolutely gorgeous!

Here’s a swatch of the color–I plan on doing a makeup-look post with this later in the week, so keep an eye out for it!

Do you have any Estée Lauder Eyeshadows? What do you think about them?
