My Latest Drawing & A Bit Of A Catch Up

Hi guys!!! We’ve been back in the States for a week and a half and it’s been so amazing. It’s been a whirlwind of catching up with friends and family…but we’ve also had a wonderful weekend in NYC. I can’t believe we’re already half-way through our visit, but we still have so much to do over the next week! Here’s a little catch up of our adventure so far…

At the airport looking exhausted but excited to be in the States!

The most delicious whole-wheat fruit topped pancakes I’ve ever had! I was only able to eat a third, but it was soo good!

Meeting up with my two friends from our semester abroad in London.

Some other amazing works from Heroes, Villains, Myths and Legends

A little glimpse of the crowd, it was packed!!

I’ve really missed driving… I don’t really drive in the Dominican Republic because it’s really stressful and can be pretty chaotic. Clearly Gus missed driving too!

So that’s the long and short of it. I have done a fair bit of shopping, but that will be for another post. I’ll just say I’ve been to Lush, Sephora (a few times :P), Ulta, Bath and Body Works, and many many more places including my beloved Target.

I hope this finds you all well! More to come soon xx

  1. You were featured in an exhibit? That is so cool! Very nice drawing too. How did you draw such crisp edges for the leaves with those materials? I suck at drawing but when I’m really crafty in other ways 🙂 Hope you enjoyed your trip and I can’t wait to see all the goodies you picked up!

    • Thanks!! Yep, it’s the third exhibit I have been lucky enough to take part in. I use Charcoal pencils, so you can get the point as sharp as you need. We’re still here in the States for another week, so there’s still a bit of time to get some more shopping in 😛 x
