Face Of the Day #8 – A Mix Of Old & New

It’s been a long time since my last Face Of the Day post, so it was about time to remedy that. Since I’ve been trying out a lot of new products lately, I thought this was also the perfect opportunity to show you some of them in action. I’ve been having so much fun experiments with all my new makeup additions, but left this look very daytime wearable (as per usual). Here’s what I used:

Makeup Used Face of the Day

L’Oreal Youth Code Pore Vanisher as primer

Benefit The Big Easy Foundation in Light/Medium

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla

Bobbi Brown Corrector in Light Bisque

L’Oreal Magic Lumi Highlighter in Light

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Translucent

Bourjois Bronzing Powder

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Tipsy

MAC MSF in Soft and Gentle

Urban Decay De-Slick Setting Spray

NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base

Lorac Pro Palette shadows Taupe, Pewter, Sable, Espresso and Nude as inner corner/brow bone highlight.

L’Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara

Benefit Gimme Brow in Light/Medium

Maybelline Color Sensational High Shine Lipgloss in Almond Crush

What do you think? Have you tried any of these products?

P.s. I realize I used A LOT of products. This is not something I do every day. Coming up soon, expect to see a 5 Product Face post– perfect if you’re in a rush or just want to go more minimal.

Happy Friday!!

  1. Love this look, you look so beautiful. 🙂 I really want the Lorac pro palette too, don’t know how to get my hands on one 😦 x x

    • Thanks Tania, that’s so nice of you to say! Aww, bummer about it not being available in the UK. I use a freight-forwarding service to ship things from the US to the DR. Is there anything like that you could use? x

      • You’re welcome. You look beautiful in all your pictures! I’m not sure, I’ll do some research. Thank you for the suggestion 🙂 x x

      • 😀 Let me know how it turns out– it’s not the easiest to ship from the DR, but if you have no other solution, I would totally consider doing a swap. There are some things I’d love to get my hands on that aren’t available in the States. x
