Face Of the Day #10 – Thanksgiving Makeup Featuring Lorac!

Thanksgiving Makeup

If you’ve been with me for a while, you know how much I love the Holidays– and it all starts with Thanksgiving. I’ve got our menu planned and have already started prepping things for the big day and seriously couldn’t be more excited to start cooking! Since it’s only Ed and me, I wanted simple makeup but still something different from what’s usual because it is a Holiday, right? I’m happy with my subtle smokey eye and definitely love it for a change. I did a simple wash of color on the lips because let’s be honest, even though it’s just the two of us, I’m not skimping at all on the menu so there will definitely be lots of eating!

Here’s what I used to achieve this look:

Face:

The Body Shop All-In-One Insta Blur Primer

Tarte BB Tinted Treatment in Light

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla

Bobbi Brown Corrector in Light Bisque

Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation in fair-light neutral

The Body Shop Honey Bronzer in 02 Fair Matte

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette (used middle shade Incandescent Electra)

Urban Decay De-Slick Setting Spray (forgot to include in picture)

Thanksgiving Makeup Used

Eyes:

NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base

LORAC Skinny Palette (Used darkest shade on right all over lid with third shade from the left in the crease) – This palette is unfortunately sold out, but they have a Navy one still available which is only $15 and I’m sure is just as good. You can find it in stock here if you’re interested.

Benefit Gifted Mascara

Eyebrows:

Anastasia Brow Wiz in Medium Brown

Lips:

Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me

What do you think?

I hope everyone has a wonderfully delicious, thankful, and Happy Thanksgiving!!

  1. You look so fresh faced and healthy. I love it!

Also… the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette is really appealing to me, but I’m still having second thoughts regarding purchasing it or not. Is it really worth it (like is there something about it that’s exceptionally special), considering I already have a lot of blushes? 🙂
