By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Misty Rock Review & Dupe!

By Terry Ombre Blackstar Misty Rock

If you watch Tanya Burr, then you’ll be very familiar with this By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Misty Rock. She wore this a lot last year, and it was actually because of her that I caved and bought it. Or should I say, invested in it? Aside from the fact that it looked absolutely stunning on her, she wore it so often that I just couldn’t wait to try it out. So when I found it on SPACENK.com during a promotion where you got $20 off for spending over a certain amount, how cold I not try it?

Eye shadow sticks are kind of a thing right now, but the By Terry Ombre Blackstars seriously might just be the most luxurious. The formula is super creamy & pigmented, and they stay put all day long without creasing. They’re also amazingly easy to apply, you can just swipe them on and blend it out with your fingers. This shade is just shimmery and metallic without too glittery or frosty.

The only downside? They’re $43.50 for one! That’s why I said I invested in one. If you’re budget doesn’t allow for you to splurge on one of these, the Laura Mercier Caviar Eye Color ($28) are also really good and the Amethyst shade is a really close dupe for Misty Rock.

Misty Rock Dupe Swatch

I don’t know if you can tell in the picture, but the difference is that Misty Rock is smoother and more metallic than the LM Amethyst one.

SPACE.NK.com is running that same promotion right now where if you spend $75, you get $20 off by using the code DISCOVER15 at checkout until April 26th. If you’ve been looking for a way to justify splurging on one of these, then now is your chance! You can pick up a few things and get this for basically half off! Oh the ways we can justify picking up new makeup. I might just take advantage of this promotion again and pick up another one in the shade Bronze Moon. 😀

Have you tried any of these? What do you think?

Thanks for reading!

      • First of all you need a few more shades of there Ombre Blackstars But you already know that! LOL Then I definitely recommend the Hyaluronic range the powder, the bases and the primer, their blushers are cute, but most of all you need to try their Terrybly Rouges! Those will blow you away! They also have a lovely brow gel and if you’re feeling spendy, the Densilis foundation and primer are amazing too!

As for skincare the Baume de Rose has to be tour first pick of course, then their cleansers are also lovely!

        Happy shopping! 😊xx
